Whether this is your first family visit to the Key Theatre or you are part of the furniture, Roses’s Make Believe will prepare you and your little ones to become confident theatregoers and theatre makers of the future.
Each month, Make Believer’s will take part in an interactive story telling workshop and craft activity in our Studio Theatre led by local artist, Rose. There will always be a unique story and theme, written to explore movement, voice, music, lights, and many other wonders from the world of theatre.
The sessions will also include a biscuit and refreshment break (at no extra charge) and a chance to explore a different part of the Key Theatre each time you join us. From the friendly foyer to collect tickets from the Box Office, to sitting in the magical Main Auditorium where children can practice with their booster seats, Rose’s Make Believe is the perfect experience for building children’s confidence when visiting their local theatre.
As part of our efforts to make theatre accessible to all, this activity has a ‘pay-it-forward’ payment option, meaning you choose how much you want to spend depending on personal circumstance. The pay-it-forward price will be supporting those who need to pay the affordable option.

- Adult tickets are free of charge
- When booking, please register both your child and any adults who will be attending the session
- Each child must have at least 1 adult accompany them throughout the session
- Each child may have a maximum of 2 adults accompany them per session
